Photographing pets is a lot like photographing babies; you have to love the subject and you have to have lots of patience. We have one photographer who specializes in pet photography and gets referrals from veterinarians and former clients. (woof woof)

Most photographers when asked will say, "Sure, we photograph pets", but your job is to find out if they love animals and love photographing them.
